Spring Dances O'Er the Fields
Spring Dances O’er The Fields
All dressed in her yellow gown,
Petalled cape and duckling down,
Spring dances o’er the fields
And dances through the town.
Then she whispers to the honey bees,
That Summer’s stirring through the trees
Who tell the birds in budding leaves,
Who sing it to the woodland breeze.
Now Summer dressed in petalled gown,
With sunny smile and golden crown
Dances o’er the fields
And dances though the town
