Spiritual Transplant

The presence of His Spirit brings about a change In the new restful place where I begin to dwell A once ugly place where I should have perished Is now free from a self-inflicted burning hell Within my heart is kindled a pure lasting fire Where once the curse of sin each day would lay Leaving me ever mindful of your awesome love Embracing the privilege which in my life stays For this realm of which I was invited to share Fills my heart and spirit with majestic beauties And my mind once unruly is now lovingly ensnared By the blessed presence of Your loves generosity I am humbly blessed to have this opportunity One from which I will never seek to turn away For all I once was has been totally removed By my sweet Lord’s spiritual transplant today (November 1976 – A spiritual life changing moment)
