So Nearly Everyday
A long single strand of hair.
Deep darkness of my despair.
Everyday is much like the last.
Waves of darkness are all that pass.
I need the light from somewhere beyond.
Anything to guide me from the endless dark pond.
Spare me the madness of these lonely dark days.
Desperate and alone without some light to clear this haze.
I walk in a fog of anquish and pain.
I grasp for anything solid or go insane.
My screams are unheard by all around.
I beg to be released but there's never a sound.
My screams rebound from the torment I feel.
Never to be heard by anyone who's real.
