Slumber's Call
Cocoon of blankets upon my bed
Fluffy, white pillows to cradle my head
My eyelids are hanging, though just by a thread
And slumber softly calls
Silence soon will clear my mind
As thoughts and dreams become entwined
Realities, boundries, undefined
And slumber softly calls
Close my eyes and fall so deep
To fields of Zzz's I'm soon to reap
Entangled in the web of sleep
Succumb to slumber's call
