Well this hits me for the life of a graveyard that holds the history of entire families. They are decorated, visited, flowered, and gifted. It’s a method for us to walk in the past, in the present. Then literally, for California, we have seen these treasures of the spirit succumb to flame and ash. Destroying tombstone, record, and history. I know it’s a different take! The flower is all of that, but briefly! -Gypsies All

Thank you my friend. I am so very pleased to see that you have returned to gift us your new poetry! Yes, the flower represents treasured and beautiful things in human life and in Nature too. Of which destruction may come as earth is not eternal as neither are we of flesh and blood. Sorry about those destructive fires in California my friend. Things destroyed that can never be replaced.

Thank you my friend. This one is about the death of great beauty. be it a human or a flower. Death is the ultimate curse, the most feared among our fears. Winter more than any other season brings on gloom, lack of opportunity and death. God bless....
