Sing a Song For Me
Let me hear the melody-a sweet sweet melody
One that even the birds can't sing.
Let me feel the beat-a soft, strong beat
Whose rhythmn reaches my very soul.
Till the evening dawn
Chases away the sun.
Sing a song for me-a sweet sweet melody
One that even the angels can't sing.
Wrap me in warmth-written just for me
Cover me from my head to my toe.
I want to feel I belong
Turn my house into a home.
I climb the stairs-turn the key-
Say you'll sing a song for me.
Sing a song for me-a sweet sweet melody
One which only my heart can sing.
Oh if only you really knew-
How much I love you.
Sing a song for me-one you ordain yourself
My shattered broken dreams mend on a shelf.
Sing a song for me-bring freedom to my soul
Maybe I'm just too demanding..
This is what it sounds like when doves cry.
