Shore By the River
River is vast water is cold
There are no wonderful castles by the shore to behold
But for child ten years old
Imagination runs wild dreaming of situated by the river city of gold
Yet there is something about the river shore
Above which eagles soar
There might not be even remnants of medieval claymore
But stones of bizarre shapes are all over this shore
The child paints symbols on the stones symbols that are very old
And with those symbols not only he can find city of gold
Eye of his soul opens and his world will behold
And if one listens closely stones whisper story normally only in afterlife told
They give his soul what to it is same as to pebble is consciousness
There by giving him hint of beauty that is ageless
The boy awakens from spiritual blindness
Base of the soul is beyond omnipotence so abilities he now has leave him breathless
He looks upon the sky
Where the eagles will fly
He remembers beauty of this world as he travels through the sky
And because he recognizes the need to use the power wisely his soul is painted like wings of butterfly
