She was hurting but yet in advance
She is afraid to call out his name
She prayed to God everyday
Why is she here why is she afraid
She has imagined to leave this place
Searching for a more universal meeting place
New place to serve the Lord
A place to mend her family
And this place her mendings alone
Her face in man has been disowned
And yet there is a spark in this one man's heart
Could he be one who could abandon her qualms
And yet she is not searching for a man
She is not searching for a new love
And yet her liking poor man
Her soul understands afraid of a fear of rejection
She stands notice she's afraid to speak out his name
Her soul stands alone afraid to call out his name
