She Walks The City Streets

She walks the city streets in the silence of dark the woman with lost dreams and a broken heart. Searching for the meaning of love while moving like the wind I touched the color of her emotions on white pearl strings. She was often mistreated scarred soul from life Beautiful, walking in summer evenings as she passed me by. She was from East Harlem Spanish, enamored of her the irony of loving a harlot Strange fate, the tale of allure. She seemed to chase illusions on elusive wings the bitter-sweet fusion shattered her dreams. She walks the city streets in the silence of dark the woman who lost her crown truly, the queen of my heart.

Nice one, Phillip. I enjoyed the almost eeriness of this writing. Keep up the good work. Thanks, too, for your kind comment on around the bend.
