Shall We Dance
(Shall we dance)
Dance...dance...dance,
Day and night
Night and day,
So much love,
And dedication,
Feet that was born to dance
Tapping teenagers
Danced to the rhythm,
As they practised,
People watched!
It was beautiful...
Shall we dance...
He held out his hand
And with style
Swirled her around,
Filling the air with romance,
She followed his feet
As he wooed her,
Pulling her close...
And singing sweetly...
The way you look tonight
Let me hold you tight,
From care free children
To Hollywood movie stars,
Fred Astaire,
And Ginger Rodgers
Danced to fame,
Childhood to professional,
Knowing exactly what they wanted,
Life was their stage,
It was in their blood,
Broadway...musicals.
And fame.
