September Brings in Autumn

September comes with autumn Leaves will all fall away Leaving the bark naked For the snow and the spray. Leaves were once shelter From the searing heat of sun Now have aged and brown, Seems their year’s work is done. Winter is rushing into the streets Into homes of stone and glass, Thank God for inventions That warm our living fast.
