See the Magic
See The Magic
Brilliance of a sunrise, lost in awe of it’s symmetry
Mesmerizing beauty of a sunset, lost in the artistry
Birds singing morning songs, divine sounds in the air
Littlest of creatures scurrying about, here and there
Sights of a babbling creek can ease any worried mind
The sound of a rapid flowing river, so deafening by design
On a misty, still lake, a loon’s haunting cry, so sublime
In a dense forest glen, somewhere lost within time
On the shore of some distant ocean, waves crashing in
The beach, stretching for miles, to where it ends or begins
The roar of the waves, the whitish bubbling foam disappears
The water seemingly goes on forever, off into the hemisphere
Music playing in the distance, sounds dancing in your mind
The laughter of small children, playing games of all kinds
The warmth in a summer’s eve, gentleness of rain begins to fall
The stillness of the night, darkness befalls, embracing one and all
Try to be aware of all the wondrous gifts that are all around you
See with eyes wide open, as the bewildering child you once knew
When you only see the ugliness, if all you can see is the tragic
Just open up your heart and mind, you will truly see the magic
