Seasons

There are seasons in the sorrows
Morrow's foretaste of rhythm
Seeding frost bitten sentiment
In breathless grace
Au courant of prescience break
Hastily deliquesce by ardor laze
Bequeathed in blooms
A blushing spring on thirsty banks
Until suns and moons
Give rite to sleet
The life that was
Once more shall sleep

Well, it has been a pure pleasure reading your poems tonight, each one well written. Your words are precise and elevated, and, if I may use your own phrase, your au courant use of language leaves your writing current and understandable, unlike some writers who still live in the days of old English (not meant as a slight to those writers, just an observation). As for this poem, it's adorable. Good night, it's time to turn my fan on and try to sleep.

Thank you James for your kind words. I am no expert in archaic writing, but I love how many of the words sound. I like to mix things up. Kind of like Spanglish.
