Searching For a Feeling

i searched every beautiful view to try and replace that feeling of looking into your eyes, i fished every lake to try and reel in that fish again to help my hearts cries, i listened to every song to try and match that melody of your voice, i tried every food to try and fill that void you have left in me, i drink this beer hoping to wash away this soul tie, everyday without the memories have made me cry. i read your words over and over wondering are they all a lie, but you are wrapped around me choking like a thorny rose, will i ever find all this again, who knows.
