Sanctuary

What is my sanctuary? Well, of course, the library! Endless words that raise my senses Taking me through verbs and tenses. Lovely people in magic lands Welcoming me with friendly hands. Yesterday’s events and predictions With countless truths and contradictions. Tomorrow’s vision of what might be And all of today’s reality. Forgetting my stress from today, Letting my worries go astray.

This is a unique and true write, Linda:-) When the word "sanctuary" comes to mind, people always associated with solitude! Library is a sanctuary for sure. Wonderful poem!
