the beauty of the English language is in its' adaptability....Ebonics was born there, the Caribbean developed a sister language there, unlike the rigid French we absorb and grow, why English replaced it....we poets take that tool and move it to new heights...we do not produce True Confessions or True Romance paragraphs....we find the metaphor, double entendre, the neology....and why we are a small and dedicated which Hallmark outsells (LOL) community...we are the licentious servants to the Muses....we are the few, the proud....the gods lend to humanity....now live with a healthy sense of humor or you will paint yourself into a corner with the oven door the only escape....LOL

while i am pleased with the images of the ensuing dispute of relationships I am most pleased when I can find the double entendre in a word...how it evolves in a language such as "Cynic" which is far removed from the Greek school of philosophy...here it demonstrates how one escapes the ties but there is no adjustment in behavior which is the root of the problem....my former spouse who is a chemical dependency counselor uses my poem teaching at risk youth the consequences of addiction "she is running down the staircase" for that reason
