Ruby Traces of Night

Written: December 02, 2024 ____________________________
At dawn cradle, Dew blankets the earth, whispered secrets swirl among stately elms, a chorus of cheerful waxwings sings beneath the blush of lavender skies. Willows sway, swirls of grace, twilight traces with ruby tones. The iris dances, emerging from lush shadows, each petal a whisper of dreams. Aureolin moments linger, gold glistening in the mist, as rustles paint the air, the viol of night lilts softly, celestial orbs clad cosmic clashes. We walk through opal pathways, where the heart shares its stories, and neon memories cling, as lilacs in a gentle breeze— O, the beauty in being lost.

SP, the beauty of letting go a bit seems meditative and pleasant. It's a poem that creates a scene I might like to be transported to...and in fact the words do just that. That makes me smile internally. You also taught me something about yellow pigments, and learning is always fun...I don't think anyone would ever beat you at scrabble! You definitely have grace and style that honor this place!

Oh My - Dear Soto, the word picture you paint is so descriptive - Loved the poetry. I must admit I had to look up Waxwings as we don't get them here in Oz. But you have put together a collage of images as it were making it a lovely poetic painting. Hugs Maria

"The iris dances, emerging from lush shadows, each petal a whisper of dreams." The morning scene is so beautiful, with 'the blush of lavender skies'. The whole scene is electric..... a true marvel of beauty! I feel having lost in a magic land of beauty as the 'viol of night lilts softly'. Into my FAVE
