RIVER RIGHTS

The River has always flowed In the direction of the wave Riding the tide Made me feel brave Over and over again The ride lost its wonder Like bolts of lightning Without any thunder Choices were made For the betterment of others I was the payment For starstruck lovers How could one be removed From the flow of water Creating new choices Instead of taking what's offered Allow the River to run dry Cease the Right to be I don't mind stone As long as I can embody free .....WILL Written by Trudy Schrader on 11-07-2024
