Red garden

No life is eternal God knows But you forgot me no message from thee A deluge of rain A watery plight In August I still weep through the night Ask the flower The nightingale too The anemone's crimson wine, I still show My heart, given away And now worth naught A reminder, a blood's pledge To our love is brought No grave, no shroud, On a stone so bare I sing of a red garden blooming soon...
