Quiet Time With God
When pressures of life overwhelm me,
And burdens become too hard to bear,
I go and find a quiet place
To be alone with God in prayer,
This place is not elaborate
It's not big like a house of prayer,
Whenever I go to be with God
I could go most anywhere,
I humbly kneel in his presence,
And leave my burdens there,
Then I'd pray for friends and loved ones,
Whose burdens I also share,
So, whenever daily life overwhelms me,
And I want to be with God in prayer,
It doesn't matter the time or place,
Because God can be anywhere.
