Psalm of Struggle

A Psalm of Struggle My soul is parched by the waterless desert of despair. My dry tongue longs to lap cool water. The hot sun of temptation beats down on me. The fragile body I live in begins to fail. How much longer oh Lord must I bear this torment? How much longer oh Lord will you allow this to continue? Your eye looks down on me as I struggle with doubt. Your eye sees my pain and suffering. I cannot last much longer in my present state. I cry out for Your protection Oh Lord.
