Petals of Time
Quietly floating in brilliant colors.
Delicate, soft, and supple.
Easily torn in haste.
Smells of home in spring.
Upon erect stems some lay waste.
Looking wilted and torn.
Small particles fall to seed.
Close by a bud takes form.
Another day in the suns great warmth.
Gentle is a petals life, in deed.
