Perspectives
Perspectives
There is a saying that is known.
"Nothing is real, or a lie.
It all depends on the colour
Of the glass you're looking through."
Such is the power of perspectives
I think often, on what people see.
How they see things, and why they do.
And it has come to me, that perspectives
Have different meanings to different people
Because they're looking through a different glass.
The glass through which I see life,
Has a slightly different hue
To the people around me.
Is the light to me,
Darkness to someone else?
Is the light to someone else,
Darkness to me?
Is the words spoken,
Harsh to my ears,
Yet soft to another?
Or soft to my ears,
Yet harsh to anothers?
Is something bright, vibrant and colourful?
Or is it dull, grey and empty?
Do not assume that you know
How another person views things
For therein lies a path of foolishness
