Peace's Twilight

And the moon lay still and answers "With all my heart and all my mind you perceive it not! Out of this orbit I shall flee than to watch your twilight with glee! If my shadows have offended our hearts no longer blended. What do I gain from your tortuous display better indeed to go astray.

The ever compassionate soft silver moon has gone at last bitter, because of earth's senseless wars! Beautiful metaphorical poem. Thanks - Marshall
