I just read your entry D for the first time, its touching and sadly poignant. Its really wonderful D and deserving of a top place. You are such a fine friend, your words lend me to know what an incredibly genuine person you are to be pleased with a friend doing well. Any one in this world is a very lucky person if they can call you a friend. I am a very lucky person. Thanks D .

Dear SV, the power of friendship and transcending difficulties through peace and love. The subject revolves around the various aspects of friendship and the emotions and actions that come with it. The diction in the poem is simple and concise, with each line creating a sense of immediacy and brevity. The rhyme (release/peace, harm/calm, dream/scheme) and alliteration (missing piece, kissing release) create a sense of musicality and rhythm. Unique shape as well.

David throughout my life I have pondered that question. I came up with: 1. greed 2. The desire for power 3. ( on a lower lever envy /jealousy. Once those forces take hold : Brutality and Bravado take over, and pretty soon you have a full scale war. I am still pondering a way to divert this from happening. I will let you know when I come up with the answer. I hope it doesn't take another 70 years!.
