ON NEW FALLEN SNOW I

On new-fallen snow the night is fresh, clear, cold clean, the air is serene. A hush falls over the world blanketing everything in silence The stars, tis but diamonds scatter vast velvet sky, deep past twilight Twinkle, gleam, casting soft light upon the earth I walk alone.
