Oh So Tender
In the glow of firelight oh so tender
I watched him realize with surprise
That he liked the green of my eyes
Witnessed only by faint light of ember
The person he asked about me
Had a slim sense of humor
A great grandma with tumor
And was filled with jealousy
My then boyfriend whispered about it all night
None of it my fault
Rubbing wound with salt
I decided to take my final swift flight
Our meeting at an innocent bonfire
So romantic and real
Gave both of us a great feel
My new husband and I, now inspire!
