                      The Ocean of Tranquility

             Peace in my soul, and I do mean totally.
             Absolutely, no fear of wars or the insanity of man.
             Just doing my best for Everyman!
             The absence of livid anger, the telling of truth.
             The sky is not really falling to people of faith~
             Stop, oh, stop being scared by the media crows.


             News, you devils, lying to create scares!
             Hawking their negative wares.
             Hawking the end of the world coming, those poisoners 
             of hearts and souls.


             Only one God, rules this earth and He decides when it ends.
             So be of the utmost good cheer!
             Love all His creation, do as He said.
            "Be fruitful and multiply."
             If we do not, humanity will end.
             Be ever so grateful that God allowed you and I to be here.
             Each of us, no matter the color of our skin,
             Created in God's image, the true family of man.

My good friend, this to me is a fabulous poem. This is an important poem because it speaks to the reader those truths. A pets important task is to present truth. God, light and truth, this poem has all three in fine verses. AND MY FRIEND THAT IS GOOD AND PURE POETRY. A gem and a fav too. God bless you.

Hello, Robert, Tis true, that without your belief in me, I would have quit early on. You were like a candle in the darkness!! Lighting a sputtering soul.I am here now, to thank you, unabashedly! Had you written like the cartoon character, the Road Runner…muttering one or two words, I could never have gone on….comments are not simple slaps on the back to me. Worse way to get to the zenith of the Community Board. that is not helping poets… it is standing on their works to reach the top. Comments should never be awarded. Poetry?Yes!! Good Evening from the West Coast …I feel as you do,l when I read this! There’s enough turmoil in countries, groups and families. May we both be comfortable in our own skins.I agree..That’s an outfit to wear for days, Wonderful swing you! Richard xx

I like how the poem starts and finishes up with a peaceful message. Those are the parts that stay with the reader longest. And a good dig about the conmen of the airways; the battle never goes away.

Hi David,the conmen are really pushing, COVID, aka, the China Virus, mask Up and Madman of the Century, Fauci! It’s like reliving a nightmare run by clowns. I reread the parts you mentioned. I never think I have ever written anything meaningful. I have to go back ..and then I find truth and beauty! Thank you. Pangie

Hi, Lisa, it is 2pm on the West Coast and a gorgeous day, and your reply reflects deep thought and better yet, not a fast comment to assuage a poet’s feelings. I prefer thoughtful replies to “brush off”rushed comments. They are meaningless. In a great comment reply, is a chance to get to know each other. God is not wanted here, I get it!
