O the Once Great
It' s been quite a while
A long while
A vision once fought for
Now folded up
And buried in the ashes
Dreams of fathers
Shattered by the selfsame
While children lie in wait
To kill hopes of a remedy
Absorbing the pleasures of calamity
Bestowed with green
By the supreme creator
The Giant did nought but watch
As his fields were cultivated
By those of another land
Gathering the harvest of his field
He ate of its fruit,
Replenishing, a far thought
As he filled himself with ecstasies.
The field, losing its haecceity
Thick black smoke clawed towards the sky
From the Giant's once green field;
Consumed by the fiery cold fire.
God stared upon the giant
Rain, a far thought.
