Not There Yet

Not there yet The trenches No mans land The mortars the bomb shells forever sounding Not physically but in the heart The wild battle that shows that there has been a stain in the heart A deep dark stain from battle All the soldiers want to do in those trenches are fight for there country And just hope they are there At the time when they win And there is no more slaughter there is only peace among us
