Not Forgotten
NOT FORGOTTEN

It started as a quiet morn,
That day the towers fell.
Soon it changed to become
A day of living hell.
A plane in Pennsylvania,
And one in Washington.
Now two in New York City;
Fear felt by everyone.
Many who had risked their lives,
No sacrifice too small.
Heroes made from everyone
Who tried to save us all.
Passing years brings tears anew
And memories of that day.
We can’t forget; we won’t forget
In all we do and say.
