No Surrender There are those who stand proud and salute when Old Glory is raised where one has fallen to protect his daughter while others surround a wounded president of these United States of America who has been grazed by an assassin’s bullet (as if it were a wake-up call for freedom’s sake to bear arms to defend that which is rightfully ours) and rises with arm raised and fist clenched and blood on his face, determined to win (as the sun shone down on Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, July the thirteenth, two thousand and twenty-four) under the red, white, and blue Star-Spangled Banner, “No surrender!” *** Note: Assassination attempt of the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump: Saturday, July 13, 2024, 6:11 PM EDT (UTC–4), Butler, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
