Never Mine

Please Let me Collect my thoughts I dropped them Here Am sure I’ve just been so busy Flipping Between many levels That’s why I didn’t see The stumbling block You put in front of me My thoughts Just flew From my mind And scattered on my path Look There’s one It glows Orange I pick it up Dare not To look at it The promise I made To myself When it was locked away The colour Represents Emotion From a happier time Before I stubbed my toe I don’t want that pain To flow to my heart To remind me Of what was lost And what Was never mine
