Nature's Walk With Me

0' the dawn is here for a new day, Looking to the horizon of the meadow The sun is just starting to peek its rays Gleaming brightly into the skies above. There's a slight breeze filling the air, Drifting flawlessly across the skies Two-morning doves gave a kiss of cooing Perch high up on a branch in the pine. A couple of squirrels chase one another. Around and around the tree they go You can hear them chattering As if they were playfully laughing. The trees look fresh green in the light, You can almost smell the sap in the pines The mighty oak, towering into the sky Soaking up the morning sun's essence. Tomorrow's, are never assured to us daily, But, I'm humbled by His graciousness Allowing me another day to live renewed Starting the day with a clean slate. The love and beauty of nature and human life, It renews itself each day by the grace of our creator Another chance to see a new sunrise and sunset Illustrating its temperament colorings day and night.
