I love it how you do two tankas or haiku every day and one verse :) This little one is so full or imagery in its three short lines! I can see the oars break that silence.

Thanks, Darren. Yea, I like the haiku, tanka form. It forces me to be concise, since I do have a tendency to "overwrite" and/or "overexplain" in some of my longer poems, and definitely in my non-fiction prose, which incidentally has been described as "poetic". John
