Mysterious Dreams
Looks so nice and warm and cozy in bed
Her eyes tightly closed, she lays down her head
Slips neath the covers, so comfortable there
Sweet dreams are coming no worries, no care.
Then come the twitches, oh what could that mean
She flops all over, puts on quite a scene
What is she doing, if only I knew?
This constant upheaval all the night thru!
She’s running, she’s playing, she has a ball
No wonder I dread when night comes to call
Her whiskers quiver, she begins to chat
You see, no one ever dreams like a cat!
* Actually, her snoring is what keeps me awake!
P.S. Works for dogs too!
