My Yesterdays, Todays, Tomorrows
My Yesterdays, Todays, Tomorrows
My ‘not-just-six relatives’ tree enlivens…
living
thriving
struggling
clinging reminders
even ‘dead wood’!
Bringing life anew reveals…
one and all
grandparents
parents
mothers and fathers
siblings
aunts and uncles
cousins
husbands,
offspring
grandchildren
and adoptees!
Infusing roots silently penetrate…
bringing nourishment
embracing darkness
sharing wisdom
fostering foundation.
Bulging expanding trunk engages…
fascinating encounters
chirpers
peckers
rings with Mother Nature.
Soaking sun branches explore…
unfathomable lofty places
panoramic vision
surprising sprigs.
Sparkling festive leaves escort…
bright coloring mindful of our seasons
crispy shiny growth
maturation and demise
respite for renewal.
Exploding fragrant blossoms invite…
flying newbies to share space
squatters to temporary home
buzzing news for the times.
Sharing reputes my ‘not-just-six relatives’ tree wisely…
remembers
enhances
beautifies
unifies the rumors.
Creating cherished fondness in memories, embraces…
my yesterdays
todays
tomorrows.
