I originally wrote and published this poem here in 2023 and included the Venezuelan Poodle Moth in the list. I then read on the net that in some quarters the moth's existence is being treated as an internet hoax. I’m not sure if it is a hoax but because there was some lingering doubt I pulled the poem and have only recently decided to revise and republish it - minus the said moth. If anyone out there can prove to me it does exist then I’ll very happily reintroduce it into the poem. Cheers - Gary

How you made these rhyme is anyone's guess but I'm sure it took some time. Yes, there are some amazing creatures on earth, courtesy of a wise and imaginative Creator

Indeed there are. Thanks Tom. It’s possible that I’ve slightly amended the poem since you last commented having discovered that a 150 foot jellyfish called the siphonophore exists and I’ve now included TC’s suggestion of the Jesus Lizard. Read you soon. Cheers - Gary

Quite a list Gary, I never heard of any of them. Another for you, Jesus lizards, they're so quick and with their feet can run across water. Hope you have a happy Easter weekend, wish it would warm up a bit though. Tom

Thanks Tom. If I ever get to writing a few more lines then Jesus Lizards will be included. Cold here in Merseyside too unfortunately. Happy Easter to you and yours. EDIT: Jesus Lizard now added. :) Cheers - Gary
