Innocence follows you through life, yet you're as sharp as any knife. And you have a calming effect, polishing dreams dimmed by neglect. Your compassion cushions my falls as you breach all my inner walls. And restoring lost hopes and pride, you put confidence in my stride. Your smile melts my sadness within, allowing my smile to begin. And your faith in me gets me through; if I lost you, what would I do? You're forgiving, patient, and kind, virtues that aren't easy to find. And this extraordinary blend; defines my lover and best friend.

I was looking for a nice old poem today and believe me that I am glad that I come across this come, it was absolutely beautiful, yeah you are right,lucky are those you end up marrying their opposite gender best friends and even psychology tells is that if we marry our best friend, the chance of divorce is reduced by 80 percent, good luck and have a really nice day
