My Heart

I wish you were like these ocean currents, with no feelings at all, with no doubts, just you doing your ordinary duty. I wish you were always going to the right- sided ways and flawless. You have been unsatisfied lately with what nature has been feeding you. Why is your thirst unquenchable? I want to know. Is it you who let me sail to the wrong cardinal points or is it how the journey should be? I’m here now, wondering with endless words manufacturing this and that, I feel like giving up to that little light you promised to show me. I’m here today with questions in lanes like beasts on a one way to the river. Every heart I seem to touch fades in me, I’m about to give up on you, please don’t let me.
