My Girl

The old songs can make me cry As those memories go floating by Those times still ring true On the dance floor swaying with you They start up and I know Where the music will make me go It’s the darkened room with you so close That’s the time I like the most I suppose you sometimes wonder As I close my eyes and wander Does he still love me better than the rest But you are still my girl best. © Paul Warren Poetry
