My Favourite Place
Sitting on our front porch is my favorite place to be
Rocking in my comfy chair with a cup of Earl grey tea
Some days when I sit quietly, a hummingbird pops by
And feeds upon the nectar from my flower pots hanging high
It hovers by the purple blooms and samples all it can
I marvel at it's tiny wings; they sound just like a fan
They truly love petunias, as do the bumble bees
I smile and watch contented and enjoy the summer breeze
