My Daddy

I’m no little girl I’m growing up so fast See how big I’ve gotten Since you seen me last. One day I’ll be a woman Not daddy's little girl I’ll be old and married I’ll have my own baby girl. When I get older I’ll understand you Because I’ll go through the same things too Then I’ll understand all Those rough times we have been through. The screaming and yelling Followed by the arguing and fighting That’s why I spent so Much of my time writing. So you understand The things I’ve been through So we can communicate and Talk to like we're supposed too. Just like father And daughter are meant to be Because you can't deny You don't love me. I won't deny it 'cause I love you too Just like a Daughter loves her father too.
