Mountain Climbing
The road to glory is steep and thorny
And the wind is tricky and phony
The more I try to reach my crown
It tries to drag my two feet down
Without even knowing that it's there
For, snares are everywhere
If my steps are not placed properly
I may end up as a dim memory
And there are pitfalls on my track
But love, there is no turning back
I must keep moving forward
I must sail my hope onward
If you see me climbing my mountain
Amidst the caustic and hasty fountain
Dare not to think that I'll surrender
For, my will ain't that so tender
I must reach top to settle the scores
Even if I have to nurse some sores
There may be perils on my way
But I will drive them all away
I'm not that easy to scare
I have no precious time to spare
I'll climb my way to the mountain top
And nothing can make me stop
