Most Beautiful Christmas Poem
How can mere words express the joy?
Eternal grace from God so given.
In swaddling clothes, a baby boy,
precious gift to us from heaven.
Magi and shepherds worshipped him,
infant Jesus, the new born King.
Birthed to free our souls from sin.
Oh, let our grateful voices sing.
Christmas now is colorful lights,
bright trees, good friends and gifts.
Ask anyone about that Holy Night.
They may know little to none of this.
Sadly, many have not made it through.
There is so much violence today.
Christmas love is needed other months too.
Remember the children when you pray.
The Angels called for “Peace on Earth”
and ‘” Goodwill” to all women and men.
We have victory in the Christ child’s birth.
Let it ring out, again and again and again.
