Moonbeam

Moonbeam The greatest thing? The Candlelight Queen The patrons play neath your luster We welcome you With open arms and knowing eyes we walk your silver gable neath your smile we found our hearts the couples we shared L'Amour The nights were free neath moonbeam free love for watching eyes And kisses seemed sweeter friends were generous the night soothed like wine And always the dream dreamed of you the lunar lamp, your mystique the riddle of answers the implicit sleep-land Where there is always something to love and nothing to hate the silver joy Moonbeam Keith Hunt (c) 2000 First appeared in 'The Plowman'

I liked the lines "the silver joy" - moonbeam After I work at my paying job I volunteer at a place called Poets House. It 50,000 volumes of poetry in it - including a few of my chapbooks. If you are ever in NYC you should get over there. Peace & Blessings Matthew Anish

Been years since I've been to NYC, but I'll keep that in mind, cool you have a chapbook; I was offered to write one years ago but declined ---- now I am reconsidering I'm working towards a book publisher. Thanks again for your kind comments! Peace and Blessings!
