Month of the Garnet
You're the beautiful month of brand new starts
clasping hands and wide open hearts.
When the festivities are done
we can breath a sigh as one.
You happen to be the month of my birth;
the time that I arrived on earth!
You're a time of renewal and seeking dreams
when nothing's really as hard as it seems.
I come to you through the looking-glass
with happiness of what shall pass.
Crisp winter air won't chill my soul
as I take on a new-found role.
I'm a dreamer ,a poet and a friend to many.
As for grievous heartaches there's no longer any.
When I have you January to give me hope
I feel I've been thrown that rescue rope.
