It’s His birthday, she said. What do I want to give to Him, she thought. The stillness of a soft and silent dawn, Soothing away the darkness of night, the shadows Falling like a breathless sigh, Across the skies who tremble with beautiful Beyond the breaking of dawn, Crumbling into the spirit who knows … This life, on Christmas or any other day, Is more magnificent when I think of the love… Love that satisfies the spirit, brings hope to the heart, Sings peace to the weary moments and shines light… Over the aching sun, embracing the moments, When His love revealed the wonder of grace that can’t be outdone, Grace that promises love will win, in the end… Nothing but that – love that lasts, everlasting love… Matters to the heart who hopes, The soul who believes, The spirit who needs the peace found… In the love brought to this earth by our dear Savior’s birth! Merry Christmas is meaningless, unless we speak to Him… - The King of Kings, the Maker of wings, the One who is surely my everything!
