Mermaid

Down from the spring board, Through the air, falling free with total peace, Diving down deep under water. Eyes sparkle and shine, To see loads of bubbles around. Swirling and twirling, I pop up from the water. To feel the driving rain, And to see beautiful parrots hover. To be in the water, is such a great fun. A mermaid in a pond, who never wants to return.
