Meadow
she asks me if I eat insects
blue/black butterfly resting on top of a rose
I simply wait for food
to be brought into my hands
wait for the dark encounter to come
I cannot save me from my own self
or concentrate on romance
never was/is a beautiful rose or velvet rabbit
imprisoned in everything nonsensical
anxious for my freedom then and now
there is no solace, only alienation
the past years red and yellow, humorous
the now should be priceless
in its blue/green dewdrops handed to me
the roses have demonized me
on top of one a blue/black butterfly rests
